I am the proud owner of a bb11 since last year. Unfortunately, the boat is a mere wreck. I am restoring it to every possible detail. I include some pictures of the soory boat.

Best regards

Hi!

My family and I live in Westport Connecticut and belong to Pequot Yacht Club. There I race Ideal 18's, (Bruce Kirby one design), a J 120, and frostbite in Dyers during the winter. My eldest boy Henry races an Opti. Unfortunately there are no other BB11s around but I do plan to race her in a Classic Regatta in the next couple of weeks. I am also in the process of restoring our beloved "Varuna", a 1951 Herreshoff H28.

Winsome, the BB11, I purchased in Burlington, VT where she sailed on Lake Champlain for 20 Years. Her previous owner was Rick Davis. While I don't have the original sails, I understand her original sail

number was 245 and may have been built in the late 60's. She's in beautiful condition and sails fast. I have a new set of sails on her and made a 150 Genoa for our light airs on Long Island Sound. Any go- fast tricks or secrets that you want to pass on would be greatly

appreciated. I love this boat and plan to sail her 'til I can't sail any more.

Best regards,

John

Congratulation on the new BB11 Club website.     Hopefully it attract worldwide owners.        "BiBi" is resident at Donaghadee in N. Ireland.

I sail her in the Irish Sea out of Copelands Marina, Donaghadee.    Leaving and entering the marina requires engine power.     I have sent a photo of the outboard bracket which is easiy removed for racing.       A 2HP LS outboard is sufficient.     She is a joy to sail.     I am not aware of any other BB11's in Ireland.

Best regards,
